Marcus Larivaux

Raised in a Christian home, Pastor Marcus I Larivaux came to accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age. He has always been passionate about the gospel of Christ, with a mission to tell a dying world that Jesus saves! Pastor Larivaux began his ministry by being active in the Church of the Oranges’ youth group in Orange, New Jersey. It was there that he served diligently, and was awarded the Presidential Volunteer Gold Service Award from President George W. Bush. Pastor Larivaux also began preaching at the tender young age of 13, and has since preached both nationally and internationally. He is a graduate of Pine Forge Academy and Oakwood University, where he served as a Student Government Senator, Sophomore Class President, and Student Government Religious Vice President, all while maintaining honor roll status.

Following the will of God for his life, Pastor Larivaux continued to Atlanta, Georgia, where he completed a Masters of Divinity degree from Emory University. He began his pastoral experience as the Assistant Pastor at the Atlanta Berean Church, and has since served at the West End SDA Church, the Allon Chapel SDA Church, and as an adjunct faculty member at Union College. He now lives in Chicago, Illinois with the love of his life, the former Alexis Collier. The two of them are proud parents of their cat September. Ultimately, his mission remains the same, to tell the world that Jesus saves.
